Artist Talk with cellist Amalie Stalheim
The Artist Talk with Amalie Stalheim, originally postponed from the festival’s first edition, will take place live on 28 April at 16:00 in collaboration with Malmö Academy of Music.
During this 40-minute conversation, the Norwegian cellist will join Swedish composer Staffan Storm to reflect on her musical journey and discuss what it means to build an international career as a young musician today.
Topics will include:
• What young classical musicians in the Nordic countries can do to actively shape their own careers
• Similarities and differences between the classical music scenes across the Nordic region
• The challenges and opportunities facing young artists in a highly competitive field
